The Interns will fill their weeks shadowing core members of the team to learn how their department functions and supports Peet's business while focusing efforts on completing their project. The day-to-day activities will vary depending on which department you will support.</p> <p>We anticipate offering a variety of engagement activities including, but not limited to: Roasting Plant Tour, Coffee Tasting, Tea 101, Career Coaching, and Coffee Chat with Stuart Heflin - our President. These engagement activities are set to occur every other week. You will help research food and organic fraud tools, evaluate our ingredient standards, and assess current compliant data collection processes to enhance our Quality & Regulatory Compliance programs.</p> <p>This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Quality & Regulatory Compliance management within the food industry.</p> <p>You will strengthen Peet's proactive regulatory risk management by evaluating and improving the quality and regulatory compliance tools and processes. Your work will help identify and mitigate emerging food and organic fraud risks, enhance the robustness of ingredient compliance across the product portfolio, and accelerate response to high-risk consumer complaints.
