As PMI U.S. continues to lead the industry toward a smoke-free future, the Specialist, U.S. Communications will play a pivotal role in building our "Invested in America" positioning. This role is responsible for planning and executing high-impact external events that elevate PMI's corporate reputation and thought leadership. You will lead activations around strategic tentpole moments and curate experiences that engage key stakeholders and reflect PMI's transformation journey.</p> <p>Your 'day to day':</p> <ul> <li>Event Strategy & Execution: </li></ul> <p>Lead the planning and delivery of external-facing events such as stakeholder roundtables, thought leadership forums, and activations tied to major tentpole moments including UNGA, F1, SXSW, and others.</p> <ul> <li>Cross-Functional Collaboration: </li></ul> <p>Partner with Communications, Government Affairs, Legal, and external agencies to ensure events align with strategic priorities and regulatory standards.</p> <ul> <li>Vendor & Partner Management: </li></ul> <p>Manage relationships with venues, production teams, and creative agencies to ensure seamless execution and brand consistency.</p> <ul> <li>Content Development: </li></ul> <p>Support the creation of event materials including run-of-show documents, speaker briefs, multimedia content, and post-event reports.</p> <ul> <li>Brand & Messaging Alignment: </li></ul> <p>Ensure all events reflect PMI's U.S. brand identity, tone of voice, and corporate messaging.</p> <ul> <li>Measurement & Insights: </li></ul> <p>Track event performance and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.</p> <p>Who we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. </li><li>4+ years of experience in external event planning, preferably in a regulated or corporate environment. </li><li>Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Experience managing vendors and working with senior stakeholders. </li><li>Familiarity with event technologies and hybrid formats is a plus. </li><li>Fluent in English. </li></ul> <p>Annual Base Salary Range: $90,750-$121,000</p> <p>What we offer</p> <ul> <li>We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus (applicable based on level of position), great medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k with a generous company match, incredible wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and much more! </li><li>We have implemented Smart Work, a hybrid model of working that promotes flexibility in the workplace. </li><li>Seize the freedom to define your future and ours.
