Kennedy Center for International Studies. This role works closely with program coordinators across areas including International Relations, International Development, Global Women's Studies, Asian Studies, European Studies, Latin American Studies, Africana Studies, Ancient Near Eastern Studies, Middle East Studies, Scandinavian Studies, American Studies, and Global Environmental Studies. The assistant also provides support for Kennedy Center events and lectures.</p> <p>Note: This is a part-time position (28) hours per week.</p> <p>What you'll do in this position:</p> <p>Program Communication & Support</p> <ul> <li>Meet regularly with academic program coordinators and respond to program-related inquiries. </li><li>Create, format, and distribute academic program newsletters. </li><li>Provide administrative support for academic program travel, lectures, and events. </li></ul> <p>Website & Calendar Management</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and update academic program websites and calendars with accurate, timely information. </li><li>Ensure program-related content is consistent, current, and aligned with coordinator and center direction. </li></ul> <p>What qualifies you for this role:</p> <p>Required</p> <ul> <li>A firm commitment to the mission of BYU. </li><li>Bachelor's degree. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree. </li><li>Ability to update websites and manage databases. </li><li>Experience with newsletter creation and design. </li></ul> <p>What we offer in return:</p> <p>This position comes with fantastic benefits, including:</p> <ul> <li>401k.
