Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Vendor Operations Manager or Supervisor, this position will be responsible for the performance of Service Fulfillment functions as well as the standard day-to-day maintenance of Waste Management & third-party vendor operations.</p> <p>II. Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Other ancillary duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Execute "One Off" Temporary and Permanent delivery requests including cost, availability, price, and approval steps as needed </li><li>Execute "One Off" Service Change requests including cost, availability, price, and approval steps as needed </li><li>Serve as subject matter expert to accurately perform set-up activities in SFDC, Acorn & MAS </li><li>Involved in addressing day-to-day issues related to vendor paperwork (i.e., Workorders, Schedule As, etc.) and works with internal and external partners to resolve basic transactional processing related issues ensuring department SLAs are met. </li><li>Responsible for monitoring and managing incoming volume related to escalated service issues. </li><li>Ensure documentation is handled properly and follow-up with vendors and locations to confirm schedule and actual completion of requests, when necessary </li><li>Perform tasks related to the Vendor contracts and works with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues ensuring department SLAs are met. </li><li>Support internal team and external vendors with on-boarding process of all new vendors. </li><li>Responsible for obtaining quotes, negotiating and/or procuring all service costs for all materials assigned and securing proper evidence for bulk procurement projects with both Waste Management Market areas and all Third-Party vendors for open and/or closed market entities. </li><li>Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, when interacting with WM customers and vendor partners to resolve simple issues effecting service and operations. </li><li>Project based work with detailed instructions and timelines as assigned </li><li>Assist with maintenance of the third-party cost grid and informational databases used by SBS by information gathering and data entry when necessary. </li></ul> <p>III. Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>There is no supervisory responsibility.</p> <p>IV. Qualifications</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.</p> <p>A. Education and Experience</p> <p>Education: High School Diploma or GED (accredited).</p> <p>Experience: One year of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement). One year as a Vendor Operations Representative I or equivalent preferred.</p> <p>B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements</p> <p>None required.</p> <p>C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required</p> <ul> <li>Ability to exceed in a fluid team, face-paced environment </li><li>Excellent critical thinking skills </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, including oral and written </li><li>Basic Excel, Word skills, SharePoint navigation </li><li>Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) advanced skills preferred </li></ul> <p>V. Work Environment and Essential Functions</p> <p>Listed below are key points regarding environmental demands and work environment of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.</p> <ul> <li>Required to use motor coordination with finger dexterity (such as keyboarding, machine operation, etc) most of the work day; </li><li>Required to exert physical effort in handling objects less than 30 pounds rarely; </li><li>Required to be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc) rarely; </li><li>Required to be exposed to physical environment which involves dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes or similar elements rarely; </li><li>Normal setting for this job is: office setting in Windsor, CT. </li></ul> <p>The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $25.75. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
