Apply today and join a team that's shaping the future of animal health.</p> <p>In this role as Office Administrator, you will play an important role in organizing, coordinating, and supporting the efficient operations of the facility.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, greeting and escorting visitors, handling inquiries, and sorting and distributing mail. </li><li>Oversee and coordinate office visits and events, including scheduling and preparing meeting space and conference rooms, managing catering requests and arranging meals, and assisting with travel, as needed. </li><li>Manage the facility's security system, including creating building entry badges for employees and guests, and responding to and resolving alarm alerts. </li><li>Monitor, order, and maintain the inventory of office and breakroom supplies. </li><li>Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, assist with negotiating contracts, and serve as the main point of contact for commercial cleaning services. </li><li>Prepare purchase orders and route for appropriate approvals; place orders and follow up on receiving and invoicing. </li><li>Review open purchase orders on a monthly basis and follow up with status reports. </li><li>Maintain and monitor budgeted spending for assigned areas; prepare and reconcile credit card and expense reports on a monthly basis. </li><li>Plan and coordinate facility and team events. </li><li>Participate in safety initiatives and serve as the point person for incident reporting. </li><li>Support facilities and warehousing teams with the organization and monitoring of inventory and conducting physical counts. </li></ul> <p>Job requirements and skills:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>At least 3 to 5 years of related experience, preferably in a biotechnology / medical device manufacturing setting. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization; strong customer service focus. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible in responding to changing business demands. </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion. </li><li>Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and/or database systems a plus. </li></ul> <p>Zomedica offers an excellent compensation and benefits package, including a base salary up to $60,000; medical insurance, company-paid dental / vision / life insurance / disability insurance, a 401k with a company match, generous paid time off and holidays, great growth potential, and a casual work environment.
