The position drives oversight, governance, and management of critical data supporting enterprise business needs, initiatives, and long-term strategy. The analyst serves as a subject matter expert in data source governance-including metadata, lineage, and data quality-and leads complex analyses to identify and remediate data integrity, process, and control gaps. The role supports risk oversight and policy compliance for finance data, with a focus on general ledger and regulatory reporting systems, and contributes to enterprise-wide data governance initiatives aligned to Data Management Policy.</p> <p>Day-to-Day Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Consult as an expert on highly complex business and technical data management needs </li><li>Provide strategic guidance and solutions for unique, large-scale data challenges </li><li>Perform advanced metadata analysis and maintain data source governance artifacts </li><li>Execute, monitor, and enhance data management controls across finance data ecosystems </li><li>Lead complex analyses to identify data quality, integrity, process, and control issues </li><li>Drive remediation efforts and partner with technology, data product, and business teams </li><li>Advise senior leadership on innovative data management solutions and long-term strategy </li><li>Collaborate across the enterprise to support data governance initiatives and policy alignment </li><li>Engage strategically with internal personnel to influence data standards, policies, and practices </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
