Innovation.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Human Resources the Personnel Specialist: HRIS & Billing is responsible for optimizing all HRIS platforms such as Ellucian Banner, Kronos, Argos, Hirezon and KnoBe4 and incoming and outgoing invoices to support HR functions. The successful candidate must be able to collect, analyze and interpret HR data to support informed decision-making, focusing on areas like recruitment, retention, and compliance.</p> <p>This position will also assist with HR billing, operations and reporting. The Personnel Specialist: HRIS & Billing will be responsible for reviewing and preparing invoices, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of billing data, resolving billing issues, and maintaining accurate records.</p> <p>The Personnel Specialist: HRIS & Billing plays a key role in supporting the Office of Human Resources and advancing organizational goals.</p> <p>ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Serve as point of contact for HR on HRIS-related questions and issues. </li><li>Reconciles all bills accurately and prepares requisitions in a timely manner. </li><li>Communicate with vendors on any billing discrepancies. </li><li>Generate reports and analyze data to support HR decision-making. </li><li>Monitor internal controls to maintain data accuracy. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required. </li><li>One to three years of experience working with billing, accounting, or a related field. </li><li>Extensive knowledge on HRIS platforms. </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ellucian Banner, Argos, Knobe4 and Kronos experience. </li><li>Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and practices. </li><li>One to three years of experience working with HRIS systems and billing. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>The performance of this work is in-person and on-site at the DCC Main Campus in Poughkeepsie, NY. </li><li>Flexible hours are required working three days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am - 5pm (21 hours per week). </li><li>Some travel as needed. </li></ul> <p>Classification/Salary</p> <p>Classification: Management Confidential, Part time</p> <p>Salary: $25 - $35 per hour</p> <p>All applicants are subject to a background check to include criminal, employment, and education.</p> <p>Dutchess Community College is an AA/EOE employer.
