<p>Jefferson is seeking a Senior Consultant I to support The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) Federal Transit Administration's (FTA's) Office of Transit Safety and Oversight (TSO). TSO requires support to conduct structured reviews of the Oversight Tracking System (OTrak), FTA's system of record for all program oversight reviews, to assess system functionality, workflows, controls, and overall effectiveness of program operations. The project involves planning and executing system review activities, including document reviews, data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and synthesis of findings into clear, well-documented reports and briefings.</p> <p>The Senior Consultant I supports execution of system reviews by leading defined review tasks, conducting analyses, and contributing directly to reports and recommendations provided to FTA.</p> <p>This role will be hybrid with the preponderance of the work being performed off-site and with some activities requiring on-site performance at FTA Headquarters, 1200 New Jersey Ave., SE, Washington, DC 20590.</p> <p>This position is being posted in preparation for a proposal and is not yet funded. Join us at Jefferson, where your career becomes a journey of continuous advancement, and your talents find the platform they deserve.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Execute assigned components of OTrak and other system reviews, including document reviews, interviews, and data analysis. </li><li>Analyze system processes, workflows, and controls to assess effectiveness and compliance. </li><li>Prepare draft findings, observations, and recommendations for inclusion in review reports. </li><li>Support development of briefings and written deliverables for FTA review. </li><li>Coordinate with the Program Manager and Senior Consultant II to ensure consistency and quality. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in a relevant field. </li><li>A minimum of 3 years' experience in business consulting, process improvement, strategy, or a related field.
