This role involves leading apprentices and journeymen, ensuring compliance with local codes, and managing complex plumbing projects from start to finish.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Install, inspect, and repair Commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems, gas systems. </li><li>Diagnose commercial plumbing issues and determine effective solutions </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes </li><li>Train apprentice and Journeyman plumbers </li><li>Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and safety regulations </li><li>Prepare cost estimates, materials lists, and project timelines </li><li>Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other trades on construction projects </li><li>Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs </li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Valid Journeyman Plumber license (as required by state/local regulations) Is a plus but not required </li><li>Extensive experience in commercial plumbing (10+ years) </li><li>Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and safety practices </li><li>Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings </li><li>Leadership and supervisory skills </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in project management or team leadership </li><li>Knowledge of commercial plumbing and commercial gas systems </li><li>Certification in backflow prevention or other specialized areas i.e. jetter experience, pipe relining... </li></ul>
