<p>Overview</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Title Officer to join our team in the Salt Lake City area. The Title Officer is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and ensuring real estate titles to facilitate smooth and accurate closings. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.</p> <p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Examine public records, title reports, and legal documents to determine property ownership and identify any defects, liens, or encumbrances.• Clear title issues by coordinating with underwriters, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other involved parties.• Prepare and issue title commitments, title insurance policies, and endorsements.• Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards.• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process.• Provide guidance to escrow officers, processors, and other team members on complex title issues.• Maintain accurate and organized documentation for each file. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Title Officer or in a related title/real estate role.• In-depth knowledge of title research, underwriting standards, and curative processes.• Familiarity with Utah real estate laws and regulatory requirements preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.• Proficiency with title/escrow software and Microsoft Office Suite.• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities • Examine public records, title reports, and legal documents to determine property ownership and identify any defects, liens, or encumbrances. • Clear title issues by coordinating with underwriters, attorneys, lenders, real estate agents, and other involved parties. • Prepare and issue title commitments, title insurance policies, and endorsements. • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards. • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the transaction process. • Provide guidance to escrow officers, processors, and other team members on complex title issues. • Maintain accurate and organized documentation for each file.</p>
