This position in the Product Development Science and Technology (PDS&T) organization supports biologics manufacturing at the AbbVie Bioresearch Center based in Worcester, MA. As part of the PDS&T Biologics organization, our group leads the process technology transfer, optimization, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement for late-stage and commercial manufacturing of therapeutic proteins for AbbVie. We also provide technical support for manufacturing, GMP compliance, and regulatory filing. We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative scientist that can work independently and as part of a dynamic team environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Impact projects predominantly through lab-based activities </li><li>Cultivate CHO cells in suspension at different bench-top scales (e.g. deep well plates, shake flasks, bioreactors) in fed-batch and/or perfusion modes. </li><li>Prepare cell culture media following recipes. </li><li>Execute experiments following established experimental procedures competently and independently, assisting in the interpretation of results. </li><li>Troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation </li><li></li></ul>
