Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems in order to maintain and repair equipment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete daily preventative maintenance and daily tasks. </li><li>Assist and become an active member of the HAZMAT team. </li><li>Read and understand mechanical and electrical diagrams and technical repair manuals. </li><li>Able to diagnose and troubleshoot automated equipment. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns in a timely manner. </li><li>Apply knowledge of occupational hazards and necessary safety precautions applicable to maintenance work. </li><li>Operate lifts and material handling tools as needed. </li><li>Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment as needed. </li><li>Able to adapt to a fast paced work environment. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: </li><li>Friday - 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. </li><li>Saturday and Sunday - 5 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. </li><li>Monday - 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. </li><li>Experience: Working on automated (PLC's, Vision Systems) equipment, Textor/Weber/Multivac equipment, 480V, pneumatics is preferred. Experience in food manufacturing or processing is a plus. Ability to read prints/schematics/drawings. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a mechanical field in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred. Must have computer skills to communicate and process data, preferred experience with CMMS, L2L, Google Suite. </li><li>Age: Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. </li><li>Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorships are available. </li><li>Education: Associates Degree or equivalent in a related field is preferred. </li><li>Physical Abilities: </li><li>Ability to stand for long periods. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including above the head and below the waist. </li><li>Must be able to climb ladders and do work on aerial work platforms as needed. </li><li>Environmental: Ability to work in varying temperature conditions. </li><li>Flexibility: Must be able to work overtime as needed. Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands. </li><li>Compliance: Must practice good personal hygiene.
