Under the direction of the Recreation Facilities Manager, the Facility Coordinator manages recreation facilities and provides great customer service while on duty.</p> <p>This position reports to the Recreation Facilities Manager.</p> <p>Greets and assist renters and caterer needs with reservations at the Everal Barn and Westerville Community Center </p> <p>Prepares rooms for meetings, classes, programs and reservations which includes the set up and tear down of (lifting) tables and chairs.</p> <p>Must work non-traditional hours including evenings, after-hours, weekends, and holidays.</p> <p>Maintains cleanliness of the facility during reservations, classes, and programs. Including, but not limited to, restrooms, outdoor areas, and trash disposal.</p> <p>Acting as an information source on various matters, keeping abreast with latest developments and changes within the Community Center/Everal Barn.</p> <p>Provide assistance to Facility Operations Supervisor and customers with Community Center/Everal Barn day of reservation contracts and facility layouts</p> <p>Exercise initiative and professional judgment in the performance of duties</p> <p>Anticipating and addressing guests' needs and resolving their problems and complaints appropriately, calmly and in a timely manner.</p> <p>Acquire, through provided training, a working knowledge of RecTrac</p> <p>Provides tours of recreation facilities and reservation space (Community Center/Everal Barn)</p> <p>Handles customer questions, concerns and complaints in person and on the telephone.</p> <p>Responsible for safety action during emergency situations</p> <p>Will receive training in other areas of the operation including gymnasium, fitness room, climbing wall, adventure fitness.</p> <p>Facility Coordinator Position should be flexible to work shifts that are late evening, weekends and holidays.</p> <p>Ability to establish and maintain working relationships .</p> <p>Have good problem solving skills with attention to detail.</p> <p>Able to work without direct supervision.</p>
