<p>Overview The Distribution SuperUser (Regional) is responsible for systems and operational support at the regional level and reports into the corporate deployment/support team. This position serves as technical liaison with Information Technology, Implementations, and/or LMS teams on behalf of operations. Functions as internal consultant to operations for system functionality as well as providing configuration and training support. This position makes resource planning decisions for site-level superusers based on company, regional initiatives and workload. Has dotted line oversight of local superusers and will provide those resources with direction and prioritization of work based on global needs. Will directly support new business work, site initiatives, conversions, and ongoing system maintenance, as needed to supplement local superusers. Provides operational management backup as needed. This role reports into a Director level or above. 1st Shift Available Monday - Friday Responsibilities Regional expert on WMS logic and functionality. Serves as second-level technical support for site database operations, such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Yard Management Systems (YMS), Labor Management Systems (LMS), etc. (Local super users will be the first point of contact.) Coordinates with Information Technology and operations as issues arise. Ensures issues are being identified, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner. Site/local superusers will have dotted line reporting into regional superusers. Regional superuser will be expected to identify local superusers, train and develop the local teams, and conduct resource planning to ensure implementation and enhancement work is adequately supported. Serves as functional owner of defining requirements for layout and design of site systems (WMS, reports, YMS, and others). Serves as implementation SWAT resource as needed and could stay on-site for extended periods of time Investigates and recommends new technologies and information systems appropriate to the site. Ensures operational system integrity, including setup and control processes. As needed, will assist implementations by participating in customer integrated testing and leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Maintains, enhances, and expands knowledge to facilitate systems proficiency. Must understand the technologies, solutions and development options available for the solution. Interfaces with customers to identify and resolve systems issues as well as part of improvement initiatives. Perform periodic quality audits on project to ensure completeness of design Work closely with assigned IT and PM resources to configure, develop, test, train and deploy enhancements or new business. Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, transportation, logistics, or related field (desired). Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience Required. Manhattan WMOS and or Softeon Preferred. Minimum five years of related working knowledge in Distribution Operations Minimum five plus years experience working in a customer service oriented role Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent organizational, time-management, and project management skills. Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems and balance long- and short-term needs Ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision Ability to adapt to changing conditions, operational needs, and customer requirements.
