<p>Background Screening Information - https://info.flclearinghouse.com</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Assistant Administrator assists in overall facility operations to provide quality patient care. assists in the direction of all department functions within the corporate/facility policies and approved budgets in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.</p> <p>Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business or health care field from accredited college or university </li><li>Completed one full year of the Administrator In Training (AIT) program OR have previous experience as an Assistant Administrator </li><li>Active State license in good standing as a Nursing Home Administrator or be working licensure </li></ul> <p>Specific Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail </li><li>Read and interpret financial records and reports </li><li>Demonstrate effective people skills with patients, staff, families, vendors, community, etc. </li><li>Effectively communicate policies, procedures, regulations, and reports to staff, patients, families, visitors, government agencies, community, etc. </li><li>Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures necessary for providing quality care and maintaining sound operations </li><li>Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action </li><li>Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility </li><li>Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department </li><li>Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation </li><li>Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information </li><li>Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures </li><li>Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the facility's programs to ensure quality patient care </li><li>Act effectively as the administrator in the Executive Director's absence </li><li>Assist with supervision of facility departments </li><li>Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients </li><li>Assist in the evacuation of patients </li><li>Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance </li><li>Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment </li><li>Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team </li><li>Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours </li><li>Read, write, speak, and understand the English language </li></ul> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
