<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>Assist in the day-to-day management of Dallas Area T Shuttle operation ensuring that operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.</p> <p>Ideal Candidate Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Prior LTL/ Shuttle management experience is strongly preferred </li><li>Must have strong leadership skills including the ability to hire, coach, counsel, train, and mentor employees </li><li>Deliver exceptional results to our clients </li><li>High aptitude for technology </li><li>The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented </li><li>Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain staff </li><li>Provide leadership and accountability to a team of drivers and clerks </li><li>Monitor production, ensuring Key Performance Indicator goals and contractual obligations are met and/or exceeded </li><li>Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards </li><li>Support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers </li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts as business levels increase </li><li>Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the assigned locations. </li><li>Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence </li><li>Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the shuttle operation, transportation route, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements Qualifications and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Related field with 3+ years' previous business experience, ideally in supply chain, transportation, or related field with 1-2 years supervisory experience with increasing levels of responsibility. BA/BS in logistics preferred. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Detailed oriented, organized and the ability to multi-task. </li><li>Working knowledge of domestic carrier services, rules, and regulations. </li><li>Willingness to devote hour's necessary to complete task at hand. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office. </li><li>CDL License Required. </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
