<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>CMM Programmer for production equipment & support</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Role Summary: In the CMM Programmer role, you will develop CMM inspection programs for a variety of aerospace components. You will work with the Manufacturing, Quality and Design Engineering teams to produce inspection processes to meet short-term and long-term business goals. You will provide technical expertise to the team; direct involvement with machining process development and quality verification.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <p>In addition, as the CMM Programmer you will:</p> <ul> <li>Program multiple CMM's supporting various machining processes and products </li><li>Provide formatted reports for engineering, CNC programs and operators </li><li>Interpret prints developed with GD&T standards </li><li>Edit legacy CMM programs, develop probing and fixturing solutions as required </li><li>Develop SPC feedback software for quality and operators </li><li>Use Six Sigma tools and root-cause analysis to aid team in process troubleshooting </li><li>Mentor entry level personnel in CMM operation </li><li>Pursue new manufacturing technology, process improvement techniques and state of the art equipment to enhance the facilities manufacturing capabilities </li><li>Perform inspection as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college OR Associate degree with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing experience OR a High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience; All manufacturing experience must be specifically machining, assembly, machine repair or inspection </li><li>N/C programming experience (APT, UG, or other structured systems0 </li><li>Demonstrated ability in shop mathematics (geometry and trigonometry) </li><li>Proficient blueprint reading skills (geometric tolerances) </li></ul> <p>Eligibility Requirement:</p> <p>This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology.
