<p>Position Title:</p> <p>Victim Services Program Coordinator</p> <p>Job Posting Closing Date:</p> <p>05/21</p> <p>The Provo Police Department is looking for a professional, high performing candidate to supervise and coordinate the city's victim services program. (For a full listing of essential duties and other details, click here.)</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and coordinate all aspects of the Provo City victim services program.</p> </li><li> <p>Make staffing decisions, schedule workload, evaluate performance, resolve employee concerns, and conduct training for subordinate staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Review and manage all reports, work records, and documentation of subordinates.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain files, case records, and crime statistics; and prepare related statistical reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Research available funding sources for the Victim Services program; draft, submit, and maintain grants.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage grant funding and program budgets in coordination with the Finance Division.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the City on various boards and committees; and attend meetings with outside groups and agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all duties of Victim Assistants as needed and other related work as required.</p> </li></ul> <p>What are the minimum requirements?</p> <p>Provo City will honor an equivalent combination of related education/experience [substituting each one year of post-secondary education/training for six months of experience].</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, or other job-related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Three years of experience in crisis intervention, victim assistance, law enforcement, social services, or job-related field.</p> </li><li> <p>A valid, lawful Driver's License.</p> </li></ul> <p>What is the selection process?</p> <p>Applications will be reviewed in the order they are submitted, with the first screening being held seven (7) days after posting. Job solicitation may be closed at that time. Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications listed above to be eligible for consideration.</p> <p>If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. Non-disclosure may result in dismissal.
