These values define our commitment to creating a supportive, positive workplace while delivering exceptional customer experiences.</p> <p>For more information, please visit our website: www.schwazze.com</p> <p>Job Title: Senior Accountant</p> <p>Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 per year</p> <p>Type: Full-Time, Exempt</p> <p>Location: Denver, Colorado</p> <p>Position Objective</p> <p>The primary objective for the Senior Accountant will be to help the accounting team in executing timely, accurate and complete monthly and quarterly financial reports.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Assist 2 Corporate Accountants in achieving their month-end reporting responsibilities, which primarily include completing bank reconciliations and an assortment of account reconciliations. </li><li>Help review account reconciliations prepared by Corporate Accountants. </li><li>Prepare technical account reconciliations (Debt and equity roll forwards, payroll accruals, etc.) monthly. </li><li>Prepare our quarterly workbook used in the preparation of our SEC filings (10-Q's and 10-K's). </li><li>Prepare and review schedules for internal/external auditors in connection with reviews/audits, which includes working directly with our CPA firms and audit partners. </li><li>Monitor monthly and identify, research, and reconcile account variances by conducting a detailed analysis with a focus on process improvement. </li><li>Maintain the overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger records and reconciliations. </li><li>Ensure compliance with accounting policies, reporting deadlines, and transactions are performed within a sound internal control environment. </li><li>Help to create value add financial reporting documents to support management level decision making. </li><li>Establish and maintain effective relationships by working cross-functionally with other disciplines throughout the company providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. </li><li>Work cross-functionally with other departments to increase financial reporting accuracy. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
