The Tooling Supervisor will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring efficient production processes.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise Tooling Team: Lead multi shift cross functional team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Training machinists and techs to ensure a "next man up" bench strength. </li><li>Tool Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance and repair of tools to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency through hands on machining and training of team members. </li><li>Quality Control: Monitor tooling quality and implement improvements to meet production standards and customer specifications. </li><li>Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of tooling inventory and coordinate with procurement for necessary supplies. </li><li>Process Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling processes and improve overall plant efficiency. </li><li>Safety Compliance: Ensure all tooling operations comply with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. </li><li>Troubleshooting: Address and resolve tooling-related issues promptly to avoid tool delays. </li><li>Reporting: Prepare and present reports on tooling performance, maintenance activities, and improvement initiatives. </li></ul>
