<p>The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics provides comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Athletics and the athletic department. This role involves managing day-to-day operations, coordinating schedules, handling communication, and ensuring the efficient functioning of the office.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <p>Administrative Support</p> <ul> <li>Manage the Director of Athletics' calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements. </li><li>Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. </li><li>Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring timely responses. </li><li>Maintain and organize electronic and physical files and records. </li></ul> <p>Office Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary. </li><li>Coordinate office maintenance and repair needs. </li></ul> <p>Assist with the planning and execution of department events and meetings.</p> <p>Communication and Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary point of contact between the Director of Athletics and internal/external stakeholders. </li><li>Coordinate communication and information flow within the athletics department. </li><li>Support interdepartmental collaboration by facilitating effective communication. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education/Experience</p> <p>High School diploma and 3 years of administrative/office or related experience</p> <p>Preferred Education/Experience</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in business administration, sports management, communications, or a related field. 5 years of administrative experience, with demonstrated proficiency in supporting senior level executives, preferably in a collegiate athletics or similar environment.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Applicants should electronically submit the following items to Heidi Moore, Human Resources Coordinator (heidi.moore@mobap.edu)</p> <ul> <li>Cover letter expressing interest in the position, highlighting experience relevant to the role. </li><li>Current resume </li><li>Statement of Faith which should clearly explain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ, active participation in a local church, and your commitment to perform duties consistent with and not contrary to the University's statement of faith, which is the Baptist Faith and Message2000. </li></ul>
