<p>Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40</p> <ul> <li>Under the general direction of the Utilities Manager and within established Hospital and departmental policies and procedures and in accordance with applicable codes and practices performs a wide variety of testing, repairs, maintenance, and record keeping for plumbing and medical gas systems and equipment. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A thorough understanding of plumbing and medical gas system codes, regulations and practices </li><li>Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, access crawl spaces; able to work extra shifts, able to work in harsh environment, such as boiler rooms, mechanical spaces, crawl spaces </li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts Master Plumber License </li></ul> <p>Educational Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>License/Certification:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License </li></ul> <p>Age Specific Criteria: Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.</p> <p>Ability to Meet Job Performance Expectations: Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.</p> <ul> <li>Salary Range: $33.82-$52.24 </li><li>Salary Range Details </li></ul> <p>The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
