<p>Job Title: Field Service Technician (Cleveland, OH)Job Description</p> <p>Join a dynamic team as a Field Service Technician responsible for providing exceptional after-sales and warranty service. Your role will include installations, breakdowns, contract servicing, calibration, and customer training for a wide range of servo-hydraulic and electro-mechanical products across a diverse territory.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform maintenance repairs and troubleshoot break/fix issues at client sites. </li><li>Schedule and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment. </li><li>Disassemble, replace, or repair defective parts using technical manuals and schematic diagrams. </li><li>Rewire electronics and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Provide remote technical support via telephone and a ticketing system, including guiding simple fixes and recommending spare parts. </li><li>Complete all necessary documentation to support service work. </li><li>Travel frequently, including local and air travel, with a requirement of 60-70% overnight travel. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Electronics or Engineering is desired (minimum of HS diploma). </li><li>2-5 years of experience in field-based maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic instrumentation. </li><li>Strong background in electronics with the ability to read electrical schematics. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office. </li><li>Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. </li><li>Competency in using a variety of hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring instruments. </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with servo-hydraulic and electro-mechanical products. </li><li>Experience in providing customer training. </li><li>Experience working with schematic diagrams and blueprint reading. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based remotely, allowing you to work from home. Expect to travel frequently across the Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA, Cincinnati, OH, and Columbus, OH areas, with occasional travel to Kentucky and West Virginia. You will have access to a company vehicle, phone, laptop, gas card, and travel expense credit card.
