Succeed. #BeHere</p> <p>Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.</p> <p>This job is ON - SITE.</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Shift: Shift 1</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The mission of the Enterprise Facility Services Operations Manager is to lead the overall direction and improvement of the department. Manages the daily operations of the Facility Services department consistent with statutory requirements and professional practice. Assures compliance with federal, state and local codes and ordinances as well as The Joint Commission (TJC) and other accreditation agencies and all other authorities having jurisdiction. Recommends personnel, facilities, and funds required to carry out maintenance programs associated with utility, life safety, and ambiance management. Plans, directs, coordinates infrastructure maintenance functions and activities, design services, and logistical support. Directs and coordinates, through direct reports, maintenance department activities and functions. Assigns or delegates responsibilities for specific work activities. Resolves problems, prepares budgets, work estimates and schedules, and sets deadlines to insure completion and reliability of operational functions and the environment of care.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Minimum of three years experience in Facility operations, with at least 2 years of those years in the health care setting , and at least 1 year of leadership experience is required.</p> <p>EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering Business Administration, or related fields from an accredited college is required. Education may be substituted by 6 years or more of direct experience within facility services.</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Broad understanding of the methods, materials and equipment used by all trades in the construction, maintenance and remodeling of facilities. Knowledge of applicable codes, guidelines and standards in the health care field. Background with the Life Safety Code and Environment of Care guidelines sufficient to provide for a safe and secure environment throughout the institution. Ability to plan, set priorities and organize work to obtain maximum output from resources. Managerial and professional ability to carry out job duties and functional responsibilities. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
