The appointment is for Spring Half Term 2026 only (May 5 - June 25, 2026).</p> <p>Terms and conditions of employment for this position as posted are subject to the provisions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement between the University of Michigan and the Lecturers Employee Organization.</p> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <p>The candidate must hold an advanced degree in Biology or a closely related field and be knowledgeable in the topics covered in the course BIOLOGY 173 "Introductory Biology Lab" at the University of Michigan.</p> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <p>Qualified candidates should be fluent in the area of expertise and exhibit evidence of excellent teaching skills.</p> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
