<p>Treatment Coordinator</p> <p>Carol Stream, IL</p> <p>Carol Stream Dental Associates is looking to add an experienced and compassionate Full-time Treatment Coordinator to their amazing team of experts! The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for guiding patients through their dental care journey - from diagnosis to treatment completion. This role focuses on case presentation, financial coordination, scheduling, and ensuring a high level of patient understanding, trust, and acceptance of recommended treatment. This person will also be responsible for the front desk activities in the office along with other areas as directed. This position plays a key role in providing excellent customer service, managing patient interactions, and ensuring efficient workflow at the front desk. Periodontal experience is preferred!</p> <p>The ideal candidate will hold a friendly and professional demeanor, demonstrate excellent communication skills and compassion supporting the patient experience. This person works effectively in a team environment and must be able to communicate well.</p> <p>Carol Stream Dental Associates: 784 W Army Trail Rd, Carol Stream, IL 60188</p> <p>Office Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM </li><li>Tuesday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM </li><li>Wednesday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM </li><li>Thursday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM </li><li>Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM </li></ul> <p>Our dedicated team includes:</p> <ul> <li>Three Dentists (experienced) </li><li>Periodontist, Pedodontist, Orthodontist (once a month) </li><li>One Area Manager </li><li>Two FT Registered Dental Hygienists (a few temps on call) </li><li>Two PT Registered Dental Hygienists </li><li>Two FT Dental Assistants </li><li>Two PT Dental Assistants </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>$20 - $26 per hour based on experience </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Patient Interaction:</p> </li><li> <p>Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar.</p> </li><li> <p>Answer phone calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify patient information and insurance details.</p> </li><li> <p>Patient Communication & Case Presentation:</p> </li><li> <p>Present treatment plans clearly and confidently to patients</p> </li><li> <p>Educate patients on procedures, benefits, and urgency of care</p> </li><li> <p>Answer questions and address concerns to improve case acceptance</p> </li><li> <p>Build strong relationships and trust with patients</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Coordination:</p> </li><li> <p>Explain fees, insurance benefits, and out-of-pocket costs</p> </li><li> <p>Offer and coordinate payment options (financing, payment plans, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Verify insurance coverage and pre-authorizations when needed</p> </li><li> <p>Follow up on outstanding balances and pending treatment</p> </li><li> <p>Appointment Management:</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and schedule appointments based on dentist availability.</p> </li><li> <p>Send appointment reminders to patients.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures re-care is being booked.</p> </li><li> <p>Follows up with patients on unscheduled treatment plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Administrative Tasks:</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle patient registration and check-in/check-out processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Process and verify insurance information.</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and record payments for services rendered.</p> </li><li> <p>Oversees and participates in collections of aged receivables.</p> </li><li> <p>Team Collaboration:</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with doctors and clinical team to understand treatment recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>Problem Resolution:</p> </li><li> <p>Address patient concerns and resolve issues related to appointments, billing, or service.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with dental professionals to handle patient complaints effectively.</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at time. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous dental office experience required (2+ years preferred). </li><li>Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and insurance processes. </li><li>Experience with practice management software (DENTICON experience is a PLUS!) </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Full-Time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, as well as access to a variety of voluntary benefits. </li><li>Full-Time employees are eligible for paid time off and holiday pay. </li><li>Part-Time employees working 16+ hours per week are eligible for paid time off. </li><li>All employees may participate in our 401(k) retirement savings plan, which includes a company match. </li></ul> <p>Bright Direction Dental is an equal opportunity employer.
