Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program.</p> <p>It is our intention to fill this role in Columbus, Ohio, however, on occasion, applications from internal candidates that are working remotely who bring critical industry skills and relevant experience may be considered.</p> <p>Internal Note: Compensation Grade G4</p> <p>This Consultant will serve as NF Shared Business Solutions' lead innovation catalyst and community builder for automation engineering, operating at the intersection of business strategy, emerging technology, and delivery.</p> <p>In addition to the corporate responsibilities, this role continuously scans internal platforms and the external market for new capabilities (automation, workflow, AI/GenAI, intelligent capture, low-code, and data/analytics), then turns those into practical patterns, reference designs, and reusable components that automation engineers can adopt at scale.</p> <p>The consultant frames structured problem and opportunity statements, defines measurable business outcomes, and co-creates solution architectures that intentionally leverage shared platforms rather than point solutions. They convene and grow a strong automation community of practice across SBS and partner teams, coaching engineers and product owners on outcome-based thinking, experimentation, and re-use, while connecting them into enterprise teams like ETS and Tech Consulting so NF solutions stay modern, integrated, and ready to take advantage of the next wave of capabilities.</p>
