<p>The Opportunity</p> <p>We are seeking a Registered Interior Designer to join our Buildings team in Denver, Colorado.</p> <p>This is a hybrid role offering flexibility between in-office collaboration and remote work.</p> <p>This position is ideal for an interior designer who wants more than task-based production work. Your portfolio may include:</p> <ul> <li>Signature corporate facilities built from the ground up for Fortune 500 clients </li><li>Next-generation airport terminals and expansions for regional and national aviation partners </li><li>Headquarters, workplace environments, and mission-critical facilities that have to perform every day </li><li>Complex, multidisciplinary work-coordinating across teams, disciplines, and stakeholders to deliver with confidence </li></ul> <p>You'll collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with our aviation, corporate, healthcare, and federal clients to create environments that work hard and look great-blending performance, durability, brand expression, and a standout user experience.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As part of the Buildings team, you will be involved throughout the full project lifecycle, including:</p> <ul> <li>Predesign, programming, and space planning </li><li>Schematic design, design development, and construction documentation </li><li>Developing interior design concepts that align with client goals, budgets, and schedules </li><li>Preparing drawings, specifications, discipline reports, and presentation materials </li><li>Researching materials, products, codes, and standards to support design solutions </li><li>Presenting design ideas clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients </li><li>Performing quality control reviews and participating in construction phase services, including field observations </li><li>Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to deliver integrated design solutions </li><li>Provide technical guidance to junior designers </li><li>Assign and review work for support staff </li><li>Lead the interior design scope for projects or manage small, multidisciplinary teams </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture and NCIDQ certification or state registration (as applicable) </li><li>5+ years of experience working on commercial, corporate, aviation, or large-scale institutional projects </li><li>Strong understanding of interior construction documentation and specifications </li><li>Ability to think beyond finishes and furniture and contribute to overall project strategy </li><li>Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment </li><li>Someone who wants to grow with the team, not just execute tasks </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualification(s)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program </li></ul> <p>Why RS&H</p> <ul> <li>Employee-owned firm with a long-standing national reputation </li><li>Exposure to complex, high-impact projects that shape how people work and travel </li><li>A culture that values collaboration, accountability, and professional growth </li><li>Opportunity to be a trusted partner on projects, not just a downstream resource </li><li>Hybrid work environment that supports flexibility without sacrificing team connection </li></ul> <p>#LI-JG1</p> <p>If you are an interior designer who wants to work on meaningful projects, have a voice at the table, and help shape a growing interiors practice in Denver, we'd like to talk.</p> <p>Pay Transparency DisclosureThe salary range for this position in Denver is $70,000-$90,000 per year, representing the employer's good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be based on job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and geographic location, where applicable.</p> <p>This role may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, an employee assistance program, retirement and financial protection programs (401(k), short- and long-term disability), paid time off (including holidays and paid parental leave), and HSA funding up to $1,200 annually.</p> <p>An Equal Opportunity Employer.
