<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Logistics Handler is responsible for daily operation of warehouse activities. Receiving, Shipping, Shipment preparations, Inventory/Counting/Cycle Count accuracy. Computer Transaction Skills, Forklift Operation. Other tasks as assigned. This position reports to the Logistics Supervisor/Manager</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for daily operation such as: picking, packing, and shipping of products and components from inventory to customers and service personnel in accordance with the terms specified by CSR's, Logistics Supervisor/Manager, Supply Chain Manager </li><li>Simple construction tasks: build/repair pallets, bracing of crates, etc. </li><li>Unload, Receipt/ put away of vendor/supplier shipments, customer returns, and other incoming freight </li><li>Preparation of documents for international shipping in accordance with customs regulations for both ocean and air </li><li>Enter receipts, shipments and inventory transactions in computer WMS </li><li>Safety </li><li>Accountable and responsible for assigned tasks </li></ul> <p>Education and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent </li><li>Computer Skills (Knowledge of Deltek/Costpoint is a plus) </li><li>Excellent Communication skills (verbal, written) </li><li>Valid Drivers License </li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills:</p> <ul> <li>Import and Export experience </li><li>Warehouse experience with freight shipping experience </li><li>MRP experience, and the ability to work in a high stress situation within a team </li><li>Forklift Certified (sit down and electric stand up) </li><li>Inventory and cycle count accuracy with Attention to Detail in all warehouse functions </li><li>Ability to take instruction and/or work independently as assigned </li><li>Excellent Attendance record, work ethic and integrity, reliable transportation </li><li>Self Motivated </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years related inventory and warehouse experience </li><li>Experience with Imports and Exports of goods internationally a plus </li><li>Hazmat Certifications a plus </li><li>The successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship </li></ul>
