This role is accountable for delivering secure, highly available, and scalable infrastructure across networking, firewalls, servers, storage, database platforms, telecommunications, and hybrid/cloud environments. It is a deeply technical management position requiring a broad and comprehensive background in IT infrastructure.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Infrastructure Strategy: Define and execute roadmap for on-prem and hybrid environments (including Azure cloud). </li><li>Network & Firewall: Oversee enterprise networking, firewall configuration, and secure connectivity. </li><li>Servers & Storage: Manage physical and virtual servers, storage systems, clustering, and high availability architecture. </li><li>Database Administration: Ensure performance, security, and backup of enterprise databases; coordinate with DBAs for optimization. </li><li>Telecommunications: Maintain voice and data communication systems, including integration with collaboration platforms. </li><li>Advance Infrastructure Capabilities: Move beyond routine upkeep toward a resilient, automated, and cloud-ready platform aligned with organizational goals. </li><li>Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code: Implement automation for patching/configuration and drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code practices across environments. </li><li>Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement Zero Trust architecture, vulnerability management, and ensure compliance with NIST. </li><li>Operations & Monitoring: Oversee performance, availability, and observability using modern monitoring tools. </li><li>Disaster Recovery & Resilience: Maintain DR and business continuity plans; ensure SLA compliance. </li><li>SCCM/InTune Management: Oversee Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/InTune) for patching, software deployment, and compliance reporting across enterprise systems. </li><li>IT Change Management Ownership: Own and enforce IT change management processes, ensuring proper documentation, risk assessment, and approval workflows for all IT changes. </li><li>Vendor & Budget Management: Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and optimize infrastructure costs. </li><li>Build and Inspire a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and motivate top talent; foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while managing stakeholder expectations effectively. </li><li>Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor and develop team members; drive alignment with InfoSec, PMO, and engineering for shared objectives. </li><li>Policy & Governance: Maintain IT policies, change management, and audit readiness. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience). </li><li>10+ years in IT infrastructure roles; 4-6 years in leadership. </li><li>Proven experience in cloud migration, hybrid architecture, and automation. </li><li>Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage, and security frameworks. </li></ul> <p>Technical Skills & Tools</p> <ul> <li>Core Infrastructure: Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory & Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware vSphere/vCenter. </li><li>Endpoint & Patch Management: SCCM/InTune. </li><li>Networking & Security: Cisco Catalyst switches, routers, firewalls; Zero Trust principles. </li><li>Database: Microsoft SQL Server. </li><li>Cloud Platforms: Azure. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Azure Administrator/Architect (AZ-104, AZ-305) </li><li>VMware Certified Professional (VCP) </li><li>Cisco CCNP </li><li>ITIL v4 Foundation </li><li>CISSP or CISM </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
