If you're ready for a career where excitement, purpose, and impact collide-we want to meet you.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <p>As an Accounting Intern, you will support our financial operations team by processing invoices from third-party vendors across all our entities, gaining hands-on experience in how expense recording influences accurate reporting, budgeting, and tax compliance.</p> <p>In this role, you'll be an important part of delivering top-tier experiences to fans, partners, and teams across the motorsports world. You'll take ownership of key responsibilities, collaborate across departments, and bring energy and innovation to a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Support Accounts Payable by auditing and routing invoices for approval </li><li>Support departments by addressing and resolving expense-related questions with professionalism and efficiency </li><li>Comply with generally accepted accounting principles </li><li>Maintain organization in a high-volume environment </li><li>Ad hoc projects including financial statement reconciliations, cost tracking, or data cleanup </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU BRING</p> <p>We're looking for someone who's ready to bring great effort every day and is committed to growing with us.</p> <p>Required Experience & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>A proactive mindset, dedication, and eagerness to gain hands-on experience with a variety of accounting platforms and tools </li><li>Must know Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat </li><li>Must know basic accounting principles </li><li>Strong communication and collaboration skills </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college or university. </li><li>Must have completed at least one year of college level accounting courses </li></ul> <p>Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>This role does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. </li></ul> <p>FLEXIBILITY & TRAVEL</p> <ul> <li>Standard hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM </li><li>Extended hours required during race weekends and key event periods (especially May) </li><li>No travel is required </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Physical demands are light, consisting primarily of sitting, standing and walking </li><li>Comfort working indoors/outdoors and around event noise </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>Fast-paced, collaborative office and event settings </li><li>Employee will be exposed to those conditions normally encountered in a business office environment </li></ul> <p>BENEFITS & PERKS</p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to serve as an ambassador for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Indy 500 </li><li>Access to developmental programming and networking events </li></ul> <p>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>Penske Entertainment is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
