The cover letter should address your specific interest in the position and outline skills and experience that directly relate to this position.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The University of Michigan Athletic Department is seeking a highly talented and energetic Ticket Service Intern. The Ticket Service Intern interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquires, concerns and requests about tickets to the Athletic Department events and activities. This position has an expected start date of 6/17/26.</p> <p>Responsibilities*</p> <ul> <li>Responds promptly and professionally to inquiries, requests and feedback from season ticket holders, donors, alumni, students, faculty and staff and the general public. </li><li>Provide information regarding tickets, parking, disability accommodations and other matters surrounding all athletic events. </li><li>Serve as the ticket manager for one of more Olympic Sports. </li><li>Assist ticket managers with home/away athletic events to include working in a gameday capacity. </li><li>Work with various ticket managers to learn topics to further career in ticket operations. </li><li>Provide game day assistance to fans that have questions about their tickets. </li><li>Process and balance financial transactions for game days worked with your Olympic Sport. </li><li>Generate batch reports for University audit and prepare cash deposits. </li><li>Respond to customer complaints and Inquiries and determine appropriate solutions. </li><li>Manage multiple administrative duties while responding to phone, email and personal contacts. </li><li>This position requires evening and weekend hours with advance notice. </li><li>Perform other duties as assignied. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or fulfilling requirements to complete bachelor's degree. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications*</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Athetic Department, ticket office, or customer service setting. </li><li>Major in sports managment or related field. </li></ul> <p>Modes of Work</p> <p>Positions that are eligible for hybrid or mobile/remote work mode are at the discretion of the hiring department.
