<p>Classification Title Temporary Non-Exempt Working Title Adult Education Testing Assistant Datatel Position ID AELF0AEDTEST1A Annual Hours 1000 Placement Range $12.00 - $15.00 Position Type Temporary Part-time Job Category Non-Exempt General Description</p> <p>The Adult Education Testing Assistant will be responsible for proctoring computer-based pre/post-assessments for the OCCC Adult Learning Center programs.</p> <p>This appointment is contingent upon availability of grant or contract funds. If the funds from the grant or contract that provide funding for this appointment are no longer available, this appointment may be terminated without cause upon written notice to the employee.</p> <p>Reports To ESL Enrollment Specialist What position(s) reports to this position?</p> <p>None</p> <p>Minimum Education/Experience</p> <p>High School Diploma or Equivalency</p> <p>Experience using computers and web-based software</p> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <p>Basic Computer Skills</p> <p>Positive customer service</p> <p>Ability to organize and complete tasks in a timely manner</p> <p>Ability to problem solve</p> <p>Physical Demands/Working Conditions</p> <ol> <li>GENERAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: </li></ol> <p>Light work: The person in this position may occasionally exert up to 20 pounds of force to move objects.</p> <ol start="2"> <li>PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: </li></ol> <p>This position requires the person to frequently communicate with and listen to students, colleagues, faculty, and staff to perform the essential functions of the position. Since every duty associated with this position may not be described herein, employees may be required to perform duties not specifically spelled out in the job description, but which may be reasonably considered to be incidental in the performing of their duties just as though they were actually written out in this job description.</p> <p>Job Duties (Duties Assignment Statement)</p> <p>Proctor pre and post-assessments according to the academic calendar for the adult education department.</p> <p>Deliver accurate and timely reporting of student testing information to the data team for processing.</p> <p>Assist in scheduling student testing sessions.</p> <p>Assist in contacting students for testing.</p> <p>Notify students with disabilities requesting accommodation of services.</p> <p>Job Duties (Safety / Policy & Procedures)</p> <p>Abide by the policies and procedures published in the Board of Regents Policies and College Policies & Procedures</p> <p>Contribute to a safe educational & working environment.</p> <p>Adhere to established safety and health procedures and practices for the purpose of providing injury and illness prevention for self and others.</p> <p>Complete quarterly health and safety training pursuant to OCCC's established safety and health procedures and practices.</p> <p>Participate in all applicable OCCC emergency, evacuation, shelter in place drills, and be prepared to take action and assist others in taking appropriate action should a health or safety emergency occur.</p>
