A-State participates in E-Verify.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Apprentice Tradesman assists a certified or licensed skilled tradesman in all phases of work associated with a particular trade and is responsible for learning the duties in an apprentice training program. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to the vision and guiding principles of the Finance and Administration Division </li><li>To perform housekeeping duties and minor maintenance repairs according to the prescribed procedures and training put forth by the Director of Housekeeping </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>Knowledge of basic measuring tools, equipment, and materials used in the various skilled trades</p> <p>Ability to perform manual labor under various working conditions, use hand and power tools in various working conditions, understand and follow oral and written instructions, and communicate information and ideas in various environments</p> <p>Skill in the use, operation, and care of tools and machinery</p> <p>General Days/Hours:</p> <p>Monday - Friday</p> <p>4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.</p> <p>Additional hours as requested and/or needed</p> <p>Regular and reliable attendance</p> <p>Other:</p> <p>Please note: all position postings close at 12:00 A.M.
