<p>Duties and Responsibilities as a Junior ERP Application Programmer includes:</p> <p>Learn and maintain the functionality of the custom ERP system (PowerHouse 4GL Open VMS) Investigate and resolve support tickets from end users with help for IT and business analysts Collaborate with the original system developer to learn the platform's architecture and logic Document technical processes and workflows to build lasting institutional knowledge Participate in discussions around potential ERP migration or modernization projects Engage with business analysts and end users to understand how the system supports daily operations</p> <p>Teamwork: Daily communication with the Senior ERP Application Programmer to be sure objectives are met. Support and comply with company policies and procedures as applicable. Demonstrate a positive and supportive attitude. Qualifications and Skills as a Junior ERP Application Programmer include:</p> <p>0 - 2 years' experience in software development, technical support, or a similar role Proficiency in or exposure to programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, Java, or JavaScript Eagerness to learn legacy technologies and support business-critical systems Strong communication skills and a willingness to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Attention to detail, self-motivation, and a growth-oriented mindset Formal training in software development through a bootcamp, associates degree, or higher Bachelor's degree preferred but not required</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>Standard Manufacturing Plant Working Conditions 10-25% of time spent on the shop floor</p> <p>Location and Work Environment</p> <p>Work onsite 5 days per week: occasional flexible hours The employee is regularly required to talk and hear Frequently required to stand and walk May be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds</p> <p>We offer $61-$65K per year; annual performance evaluations are conducted with an increase based on the evaluations.</p>
