We want your knowledge and expertise!</p> <p>Job Summary and Qualifications</p> <p>As a Linen Technician you will have the opportunity to make a difference in many lives with a kind word and friendly smile as you serve our patients and team members. You will be a member of a unified, caring team where everyone makes a difference. Join us in our efforts to better our community! In this role:</p> <ul> <li>You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing clean, processed linen to ensure a safe environment. </li><li>You will weigh and record the weight of all clean linen the facility receives from commercial laundry. </li><li>You will complete the necessary data entry for proper documentation of linen processed/received. </li><li>You will set up all linen exchange or replenishment of carts as needed or scheduled. </li><li>You will assist with calls for emergencies pertaining to linen problems. </li><li>You will examine laundered items to ensure cleanliness and send torn linen to the seamstress to repair. </li><li>You will make recommendations to the Director of Housekeeping for changes in linen or procedures to improve safety and patient care or to reduce costs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Environmental Service experience preferred. </li><li>Previous Linen experience preferred, but not required. </li><li>Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. </li><li>Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills required. </li></ul> <p>No Travel Required</p> <p>No experience Required Years of Experience</p> <p>For 150 years,St. Marks Hospitalhas provided a full-spectrum of healthcare services to Salt Lake City and its surrounding communities.
