<p>Position:</p> <ul> <li>Teacher of Emotionally Disturbed </li><li>2025 - 2026 school year </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or higher. </li><li>Valid State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive. </li><li>Prior teaching experience with ED children preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a team setting. </li><li>Outstanding work record and references. </li><li>Successful BCII & FBI background checks. </li></ul> <p>Facts about Working with TCESC:</p> <ul> <li>The salary schedule begins at $38,076 for a teacher with a bachelor's degree and no experience. </li><li>TCESC teachers work a 184- day contract. </li><li>TCESC pays 90 percent of a teacher's healthcare premium each month. </li><li>You accrue paid sick leave with also having three personal days per year. </li><li>TCESC pays for a $50,000 life insurance policy. </li><li>Funds are available for partial tuition reimbursement. </li><li>TCESC provides a mentor and a structured program for resident educators. </li><li>Each classroom has at least one classroom assistant.
