<p>Curricular Support Specialist</p> <p>Location: Hybrid in CO | Fully remote in the following states: AZ, CA, FL, NY, TX & VA. If you are not working fully remote, this is a hybrid work environment blending some days in the office and some remote days</p> <p>Salary: $44,500 per year</p> <p>Application Deadline: Applications accepted on an ongoing basis</p> <p>Support the Office of the Registrar and team with a variety of enrollment management and administrative functions. This includes transcript evaluations, handling student inquiries by phone, engagement with academic leadership and Program Chairs, and accurate student schedule administration. Work collaboratively with the Academic Advising department to build and adjust continuing and new student schedules. The position requires interaction with sensitive and confidential documents and information; confidentiality must be maintained at all times.</p> <p>When this job is performed well, the following results will be created:</p> <ul> <li>Transfer credit evaluations for new students and students changing enrollments are completed in accordance with term timeline and department SLAs </li><li>Schedule change requests and new and continuing student schedules are issued consistently and correctly </li><li>Programmatic expertise is current </li><li>Assist with curricular planning and transition statements </li><li>Biannual continuing student scheduling project meets or exceeds project run rate </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Scheduling</p> <ul> <li>Utilize RMCAD's Scheduling tool ("Tetris") to create new and continuing student schedules </li><li>Assist the Office of Student Advising with schedule change requests </li><li>Collaborate with programmatic "PODS" including Program Chairs to identify and resolve issues with the Academic Calendar, student schedules, and curricular issues </li></ul> <p>Registrar Administration</p> <ul> <li>Perform transfer evaluations and post credit in RMCAD's Campus Management software ("CampusNexus") </li><li>Engage in ongoing Degree Progress Audit maintenance </li><li>Engage in ongoing course equivalency maintenance </li><li>Post transfer credit for all new students once evaluations are complete </li></ul> <p>Data Processing</p> <ul> <li>Receive and process incoming transcripts and other confidential documents within three business days of receipt with less than 5% error rate </li><li>Act as a counter signatory for the RMCAD Enrollment Agreements and other documents </li></ul> <p>Key Performance Indicators, Objectives and Key Results, Behaviors and Attitudes:</p> <ul> <li>Quantitative and Qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as detailed in Departmental Quarterly Review Meetings (QRMs) </li><li>Regular participation in and contribution to departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKR) Process (Collaboration, Innovation, Prioritization of Individual Tasks, Action) </li><li>Behaviors and Attitudes reflect RMCAD's Mission, Vision, and Values </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Effectively collaborates with other college departments </li><li>Demonstrates exemplary customer service skills </li><li>Knowledge of all applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and policies </li><li>Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong time management and organizational skills </li><li>Complex problem-solving capability </li><li>Ability to analyze and recommend organizational processes and/or policy changes </li><li>High degree of dependability; must be reliable, responsible and able to fulfill obligations </li><li>Must be able to operate with a significant level of independence </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Demands:</p> <p>The work environment is a typical office environment which may include moderate noise, confined workspaces, a fast work pace with unscheduled interruptions, the need to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and extensive time sitting and working with computers.
