Hear directly from our teammates at AIT Worldwide Logistics and make us the next stop on your career journey.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Brokerage Operations Representative I will be responsible for customer service (24/7), tracking, routing, problem resolution, vendor compliance and account profitability for all clientele, both internal and external.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prospect qualified carriers by conducting daily sourcing calls in order to secure consistent truck capacity, who must meet AIT TS's compliance guidelines </li><li>Book all contract expedite and ad-hoc freight, as required by customer </li><li>Respond to customer quotations in a prompt and timely manner (within 5 minutes) </li><li>Proactively track and trace all booked shipments on a daily basis </li><li>Procure, develop and grow relationships with internal customer </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues including communication on carrier delays, breakdown and other order exceptions </li><li>Handle overages, shortages, accessorial and freight claims properly </li><li>Book remaining modes of transportation (including FTL, Partial, Flatbed) as needed </li><li>Schedule appointments for pick up and deliveries </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li><li>Complies with all policies and standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education• High School Diploma or GED equivalent (Required) and • Associate's Degree (Preferred) or • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred) Experience• 2+ years Experience in logistics / transportation (Preferred) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to problem solve, make independent decisions with minimal oversight Low • Microsoft Office Suite Medium • Transportation Management System (TMS) Medium</p> <p>What AIT Can Offer You</p> <p>In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
