<p>Title - Stipend - Secondary Summer School District Manager (Internal Only) (District-Wide) (Summer 2026)</p> <p>About the Position:</p> <p>The Secondary Summer School District Manager will assure close coordination of all elementary district summer school programs in Chelsea. The Secondary Summer School District Manager will work closely with academic and City/School administrative departments to facilitate a safe and enriching series of programs that align with Chelsea summer school program mission as well as collaborate with outside partner organizations.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the planning of all secondary summer school programs, to include program offerings, space/facility use, outreach, and development of common administrative reporting practices. </li><li>Assist in the development of a comprehensive program communication plan for Chelsea families. </li><li>Collaborate with summer school partners, such as Junior Achievement, to ensure seamless use of resources. </li><li>Develop and oversee implementation of a common attendance reporting system for allsummer school programs. </li><li>Develop and oversee implementation of common safety protocols, in consultation andcollaboration with District Student Support administrators and the Site Supervisors. </li><li>Consult with the Officer of Innovation, Access, and Opportunity to implement cohesive and appropriate hiring protocols in collaboration with the Site Supervisors visit program sites regularly to monitor quality. </li><li>Provide daily support for summer Site Supervisors and serve as a liaison to needed Cityand District resources to address the full range of program needs. </li><li>Serve as liaison between Officer of Innovation, Access, and Opportunity and Site Supervisors regarding building security and emergency procedures, including field trip protocols. </li><li>Serve as liaison between Officer of Innovation, Access, and Opportunity, site supervisors, and school administrators regarding resources needed for effective program delivery, including space and technology needs. </li><li>Assist site supervisors in the development of appropriate structures to monitor student track student progress, including pre and post-test options. </li><li>Supervise site supervisors to maintain accurate student records that can be accessed byall staff as needed. </li><li>Provide advice and support for site supervisors on staffing, hiring matters. </li><li>Lead development of a comprehensive, annual, program evaluation, in consultation with the Officer of Innovation, Access, and Opportunity </li></ul> <p>Qualifications Required</p> <ul> <li>Current Chelsea staff with at least five years teaching experience </li><li>Experience as program administrator or other building leadership role </li><li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Citizenship, residency or work visa required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Summer Program leadership experience </li><li>Administrator licensure </li><li>Bilingual Spanish </li></ul> <p>Compensation: $6000 Stipend</p> <p>Dates/Time: Summer school work and planning includes, but not limited to the summer school schedule which is: Summer School will run from June 29 - July 23.
