<p>Camp Jack -LPN</p> <p>Pay Rate $28/ Hour</p> <p>Temporary position 30 hours.</p> <p>SUMMARY: The Camp Jack Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) directly attends to the routine and immediate medical needs of the Camp Jack campers, while enabling eligible children and their families/caregivers to receive the rights, procedural safeguards, and services authorized under the States and American Camping Associations guidelines and protocols.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Attend and complete all mandatory People Incorporated and Camp Jack trainings. </li><li>Assist in providing healthcare services for all Camp Jack campers and staff. </li><li>Assist with implementation of camp health and wellness activities as scheduled. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean medical cabin. </li><li>Consistently enforce and follow all program/safety rules. </li><li>Report any concerns to the Camp Director or Lead RN. </li><li>Assist in snack and mealtime blood glucose testing. </li><li>Assist in monitoring and managing campers blood glucose levels throughout the camp day. </li><li>Provide creative support for camp theme weeks. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATION:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge obtained through the attainment of a degree from accredited institution as </li><li>determined by ACA standards. </li><li>Ability to provide current copy of Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) license and required health </li><li>records. </li><li>Knowledge and skill obtained through at least two years of experience in human services. </li><li>Knowledge of pediatrics and being active in outdoor settings. </li><li>Skill in communicating and working both independently and within a team. </li><li>Ability to accurately maintain records. </li><li>Pass a qualifying criminal background check </li></ul> <p>People Incorporated is committed to an inclusive and diverse work environment.
