<p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs hands-on operation of optical dicing and filter robot testing process </li><li>All optical sizing and robot filter testing/shipping steps performed per procedure to a 0% reject standard. </li><li>Quality of product and throughput rate meets or exceeds departmental goals. </li><li>Products meet quality per internal and external customer specifications. </li><li>Works with the team to meet delivery goals </li><li>Improve processes under the guidance of supervision. </li><li>All steps are performed per policy and procedure </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Basic reading and math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Capable of applying basic math to product activities </li><li>Ability to understand and interpret product drawings (blueprints) </li><li>Ability to meet tight time schedules </li><li>Familiarity with precision optics manufacturing and metrology </li><li>Work in environment with open communication </li><li>Perform tasks independently with minimal guidance from supervisor </li><li>Ability to follow work priorities and multi-task when needed </li><li>Good interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competency </li><li>Demonstrates and promotes the Coherent Worldwide values: Customer First; Honesty and Integrity, Open Communications, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement and Learning; Manage by the "Facts"; A Safe, Clean and Orderly Workplace </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Indoor, controlled environment </li><li>Extensive standing / walking </li><li>Multiple shifts / schedules </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Able to stand and or walk for long periods of time </li></ul> <p>Safety Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Company policy is followed regarding all safety, environmental and ergonomic requirements. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining quality work environment housekeeping standards. </li><li>Takes responsive action to correct any health or safety hazard found in work area. </li><li>Initiates corrective measures within 24 hours of hazard identification. </li><li>All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
