<p>Main Function:</p> <p>The CT Technologist performs CT scan examinations and coordinates patient flow and CT scanner activities to ensure timely, safe, and accurate imaging. This position also performs X-ray imaging for inpatients, outpatients, Emergency Department, and Operating Room patients, working closely with physicians and clinical teams to support high-quality patient care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols.</p> <p>Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.</p> <p>Coordinate patient scheduling and flow to maximize efficiency.</p> <p>Operate imaging equipment and perform quality control checks to ensure optimal image quality.</p> <p>Administer contrast media, perform venipuncture, and place IV lines as required.</p> <p>Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.</p> <p>Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to support patient care.</p> <p>Education & Certification Requirements:</p> <p>Valid State of Connecticut license.</p> <p>ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and Radiography (CT, R).</p> <p>Current CPR certification.</p> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred.</p> <p>Experience & Skills:</p> <p>Minimum 2 years CT experience required.</p> <p>Proficiency in venipuncture and IV placement required.</p> <p>Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.</p> <p>Strong patient care, communication, and organizational skills.</p> <p>Work Schedule:</p> <p>Per Diem - Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.</p> <p>About Griffin Health:</p> <p>Griffin Health is a patient-centered, Planetree-designated hospital, committed to providing compassionate care, advanced technology, and a healing environment for our community.</p> <p>Apply Today!</p> <p>EOE/Minorities/Females/Vet/Disabled</p>
