Our company culture is built upon a team-based approach, which offers continuous opportunities for personal growth and innovation, while providing unmatched value to our clients.</p> <p>Perks of Working at Ignite Digital Services:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay and benefits, including PTO </li><li>Education stipends and referral bonuses </li><li>Compelling work with the U.S. federal government </li><li>Strong emphasis on volunteer and community engagement </li><li>Opportunity to shape the future of our industry </li><li>Supportive colleagues and management who invest in your growth </li></ul> <p>We are seeking a highly motivated BIM Modeler who will supplement current GOV Drafting team and Engineers in creation of in-house Installation Design Plans (IDPs), Installation Requirements Drawings (IRDs), and drafting resources in support of the development of Electronic Security Systems (ESS) design and engineering artifacts in accordance with NAVWAR M-4720.1, the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH) version 5.0, and industry standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop/modify 3D Models based on current documents/files using Revit 2024 </li><li>Develop IDPs and IRDs using Revit 2024 and AutoCAD 2023 (or later version) to transform design concepts and/or sketches as provided </li><li>Draft IDPs to be submitted electronically in DWG and/or .PDF format and shall convey the installation and operational provisions of the installation in sufficient detail to ensure no misunderstanding of design intentions or functional capabilities </li><li>Interpret and understand technical, architectural and structural drawings and details/specifications </li><li>Ensure all designs adhere to SIPH standards, industry regulations and project requirements </li><li>Revise and update drawings/models based on feedback and project changes </li><li>Work independently and as part of a diverse team consisting of Drafters/Designers and engineers to develop drawings collectively. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must have associate's degree or equivalent experience in related field (3-5 Years) with direct experience supporting NIWC LANT/NIWC PAC required </li><li>Direct Revit and AutoCAD Drafting/Designing experience supporting NIWC LANT/NIWC PAC required </li><li>Familiarity with 3D modeling and engineering/design principles </li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills are required to engage with multiple stakeholders </li><li>Proven ability to work in dynamic, multi-disciplinary environments </li><li>Proficiency in current version of Microsoft Excel </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and strong communication/collaboration skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Electronic Security Systems (ESS) </li><li>Bachelor's degree in related fields (Architecture, Engineering, or Construction) </li></ul> <p>Schedule in Charleston SC: Hybrid 1-2 days a week onsite</p> <p>Salary: 65k+ to align with education and experience</p> <p>Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.</p> <p>Ignite Digital Services is a Small Business committed to providing exceptional service to government agencies at competitive prices.
