Join a team of passionate educators dedicated to making a difference!</p> <p>Waubonsee Community College's Arts and Humanities Division is currently seeking an adjunct instructor to teach SGN101- American Sign Language, in the college's Sign Language (SGN) program. This course is an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). The course explores American Sign Language (ASL) sign vocabulary and grammatical structures and also serves as a basic introduction to Deaf culture.</p> <p>Adjunct faculty members are responsible for delivering curriculum, providing instruction, and performing student learning assessment. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to effectively use instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning. Courses at Waubonsee Community College may be offered at various campus locations and in delivery modes including, but not limited to, face-to-face, asynchronous online, synchronous online, hybrid, and flex.
