<p>Description</p> <p>The Bilingual Front End Healthcare Supervisor will oversee and support the daily front-end operations of a single clinic offering Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, and Vision services. This role involves both supervising the front desk team and working alongside department heads to coordinate patient scheduling and clinic workflows. The Supervisor will actively participate in front desk duties as needed to ensure a smooth, efficient, and patient-focused experience across all clinic services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, train, and mentor front-end staff, including receptionists and patient coordinators, across Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, and Vision departments. </li><li>Collaborate closely with Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, and Vision department heads to coordinate patient appointment schedules, optimize clinic workflows, and ensure adequate front desk coverage. </li><li>Schedule shifts, manage time-off requests, and ensure consistent front desk staffing during clinic hours. </li><li>Participate in front desk operations as needed, including patient check-ins, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing. </li><li>Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to front-end team members. </li><li>Monitor patient flow and front-end processes to reduce wait times and enhance overall service delivery across departments. </li><li>Ensure compliance with clinic policies, healthcare regulations, and HIPAA standards regarding patient confidentiality and data security. </li><li>Address patient concerns promptly, promoting a positive and respectful environment. </li><li>Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate with billing and insurance teams for documentation and communication. </li><li>Manage front-end supplies and equipment to ensure availability and functionality. </li><li>Foster effective communication and collaboration between front-end staff, providers, nurses, and other clinic personnel. </li><li>Lead regular meetings with front-end staff and clinic management to review performance and implement improvement strategies. </li><li>Communicate updates on policies, procedures, and system changes to front-end personnel in a timely manner. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of healthcare front desk experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. </li><li>Experience working with Behavioral Health, Psychiatry, or Vision departments preferred. </li><li>Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong bilingual communication skills. </li><li>Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare software. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and team management capabilities. </li><li>Excellent organizational and multitasking skills across multiple clinic departments. </li><li>Effective interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. </li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with department heads and staff to ensure a patient-centered approach. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Position may require working early mornings, evenings, or weekends to cover clinic hours. </li><li>Role involves both supervisory duties and active front desk participation, including prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting. </li></ul>
