<p>Ultrasound Technologist Extern (Paid Position) - Ultrasonography Department</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Able set up rooms for adult and pediatric scanning </li><li>Assist Sonographer and physician with invasive procedures. </li><li>Assist Sonographer with reports and workflow. </li><li>Progressive training will include student sonographer becoming proficient in scanning adult and pediatric exams without supervision. </li><li>Works to maintain satisfactory working relationships with technical director, physicians, ancillary departments, visitors, patients, and patient's family members. </li><li>All other duties and assignments as directed by leadership. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: PRN (As Scheduled)</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidate must be enrolled in an ultrasound school, completed the junior year, and be actively participating in a clinical rotation. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Degrees:</p> <p>High School/Ged</p> <p>Licenses and Certifications:</p> <p>Basic Life Support (American Heart Association)</p> <p>Founded in 1906, McLeod Health is a locally owned and managed, not for profit organization supported by the strength of more than 900 members on its medical staff and more than 2,900 licensed nurses.
