<p>Job Description:</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: Annual Fund and Events Specialist (part-time)</p> <p>PRIMARY LOCATION: Fall River, MA</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Bristol Community College Foundation</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Chief Advancement Officer</p> <p>POSITION STATUS: This is a part-time, grant-funded, non-unit position without benefits not to exceed 18.5 hours per week.</p> <p>SALARY: $36/hr</p> <p>STATEMENT OF DUTIES:</p> <p>The Annual Fund and Events Specialist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing annual giving initiatives and special fundraising events that support the College's philanthropic goals. This role works collaboratively with the Director of Development, Chief Advancement Officer, and other internal teams to increase donor engagement, promote a culture of giving, and steward meaningful donor relationships through multi-channel outreach and events.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Annual Fund</p> </li><li> <p>Work with Director of Development and Chief Advancement Officer to develop and execute a coordinated annually giving plan that employs multiple channels.</p> </li><li> <p>Conceptualize and implement donor communications and messaging (direct mail, email, newsletters, social media, etc.) including timelines and creative direction support.</p> </li><li> <p>Identify and segment donor data for appeals and special events, utilizing donor segmentation to establish donor upgrade techniques to generate new and repeat gifts to the college</p> </li><li> <p>Plan an direct Employee Giving campaign to create a culture of philanthropy</p> </li><li> <p>Support the online giving program to solicit gift, capture constituent and event registrations and utilize e-communications.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform ongoing data analysis to assess key performance measures and modify fundraising strategy as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Work with departmental admin to ensure timely and relevant acknowledgement of donations</p> </li><li> <p>Update constituent profiles as needed to ensure data integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Special Events</p> </li><li> <p>Develop implement and direct the annual fundraising events including the benefit golf tournament, film festival, gala, speaker series, alumni recognition awards, and others as deemed appropriate throughout the year in achieving fundraising goals and promoting the organization's mission.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate negotiation with contractors/vendors for special events</p> </li><li> <p>Secure sponsorship support for events through direct asks and application submissions. Ensure sponsor benefit fulfillment.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage all event logistics</p> </li><li> <p>General</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling fundraising materials, including newsletters, social media campaigns, and email appeals.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop e-communications, landing pages, and campaigns in CRM to support fundraising efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Help maintain donor-, giving-, and event-related content on website</p> </li><li> <p>Other responsibilities as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a Associates degree, preferably in communications, English, marketing or other appropriate discipline. </li><li>Minimum of three years in annual fund and events management experience </li><li>Knowledge and experience with project management techniques </li><li>Reliable transportation in order to travel to and from meetings, trainings, or campus and community locations as required. </li></ul> <p>NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all required qualifications must be met by date of hire.</p> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, English, marketing or other appropriate discipline. </li><li>Minimum of five years in annual fund and events management experience </li><li>High level of proficiency in MS Excel and strong ability to analyze data </li><li>Excellent writing and editing skills including proper use of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
