Drivers interested in secure, steady employment in a family atmosphere are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:30am start time / 50 to 55 hours per week. Saturday's as needed.</p> <p>Pay rate: $27.00 per hour (Overtime Eligible)</p> <p>Our priority is to make sure we hire safe drivers that care about the service provided to the community. As a driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience preferred, but not required. </li><li>Ability to read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher. </li><li>Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires. </li><li>Ability to perform a physically demanding job, loading and unloading, at times with no helpers. </li><li>Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities. </li><li>Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What we need from you:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Class A or B CDL </li><li>Clean driving record </li><li>Ability to lift at least 50lbs repeatedly. </li><li>Ability to work outside in all weather conditions. </li></ul> <p>What you'll get from us:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation </li><li>401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future </li><li>Healthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision </li><li>Perks, perks, perks!
