<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Operations Manager reports to the Area Director and provides supervision and direction to the Central Division Project Crew & Project Crew Supervisor ensuring safe and effective pipeline and compressor facility operations consistent with Company policies, Company procedures, & Government regulations. Operations Manager works with Area Management to establish and monitor work group goals, Operation & Maintenance budgets, & small Capital Project scopes and budgets. Provides and coordinates emergency response and first line of contact for customers, landowners, and the public.</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise and provide direction to employees regarding safe pipeline and compressor facility operations consistent with Company and Governmental requirements </li><li>On-Call 24/7 for emergencies and operational assistance </li><li>Work with Area Management to establish work group goals and monitor performance </li><li>Responsible for adhering to Operation & Maintenance budgets and small Capital Projects, along with helping develop operating budgets for prospective areas of responsibilities </li><li>Assures the work group has the resources and information to make informed decisions regarding the day-to-day operations of facilities in compliance with all Company and Regulatory requirements </li><li>Serves as the first line of management contact for customers, landowners, and the public. Assures any issues identified by these groups are conveyed to Senior Management and/or addresses them locally </li><li>Enforces Company policies and procedures and ensures operations are maintained as required </li><li>Conducts personnel reviews, and oversees the career planning and employee development for those employees in the work group </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>8+ Yrs of Pipeline Industry Experience Required </li><li>Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record </li><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Excellent Written & Verbal Skills </li><li>Must Reside within 45 Minutes of the Reporting Work Location </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Familiar with the Federal Code of Regulations as it relates to Natural Gas Pipeline Construction & Operations </li></ul> <p>SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications </li><li>Learn and become proficient in various Company programs & applications including the use of computers and smart devices </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally </li><li>Driving, walking, sitting, and standing frequently </li></ul>
